I poured my drinking over my compaq two weeks ago.
I was so sacred at the moment
I turned off the power right away, and cleaned the liquid.
This is not the first stupid pouring.
It happened once when i was in SIU.
I thought of what i done then and i suppose i can make it and get my computer back since the liquid is less this time and i take care of it right away.
However, after 9 nine hour hours, i came home from Pixar exhibit, carefully turning on the power.
Terrible sounds came up and the system was not available.
I knew it, the familiar and terrible sound, hinting something wrong with my computer.
I didn't know how i could do since i relied on my compaq so much.
What make me down is that I had no idea who i could ask for help and where my compaq could be checked.
and it was midnight then!
I cooled down, thinking what i could do to make my compaq back.
I decided to go to bed and do something tomorrow.
I went out to buy screwdrivers early morning, tearing off the external external box and tried to make the inside dry.
After several hard try, the bi sound still kept and i didn't keep turging on the power to avoid a short circuit.
I brought my compaq to computer service center Monday evening after work.
The engineer checked it and found out the problem was on the keyboard.
I spent $2,300 replacing the keyboard, getting my compaq back.
Although i knew the charge of new keyboard is higher than normal charge, i am happy because i have my compaq back at last.
and i also try to conquer the fear of facing computer this time......
